Leeds Older People's Forum

Celebrating older voices with a warmer brand and a more accessible digital presence.

The challenge we faced

Leeds Older People’s Forum is a network of organisations supporting older people across the city. It promotes wellbeing, inclusion and independence, giving older residents a collective voice in shaping the city’s future.

Their previous branding and website no longer reflected the warmth or accessibility of their work. The organisation needed clearer messaging, a friendlier visual identity, and a site that was easy to use for a wide audience – including older people themselves. Legacy content had grown over time, making navigation difficult and their core story hard to find.

Collaborating with Nat and John of Let’s Dance, we delivered a rebrand and website redevelopment, with a focus on brand strategy, tone of voice, content structure and copywriting.

How we helped them

• Ran consultations with staff and facilitated a brand discovery workshop to identify core values and tone of voice.

• Developed clear, consistent messaging and a new content structure that prioritised clarity and inclusivity.

• Worked collaboratively with a designer and developer to deliver a fresh visual identity and accessible website.

• Rewrote and simplified large volumes of legacy content, then updated everything directly via the CMS.

The impact we made

The new brand and website were warmly received by the client team and network partners. Staff reported positive feedback from users on the improved accessibility, friendliness, and ease of navigation. The project gave the organisation a confident, modern platform that better reflects its community values.

What they said

When we interviewed for this work, we felt that you would likely be very good people to work with, not just for your technical and creative skills. And that's how it's proved. We're very pleased we chose you. Thank you.
